Meet Miss Adcock
Hello! My name is Wynne Adcock. This is my eighth year as a teacher at Dolvin Elementary School. After teaching first grade for one year and kindergarten for five years, this is now my second year teaching second grade at Dolvin. I am originally from North Carolina, where I taught pre-kindergarten for five years. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Catawba College. I successfully obtained my National Board’s Certification in Early Childhood in 2003. Most recently, I obtained my master’s degree in Educational Administration and Policy from the University of Georgia.
I believe that is important to educate the “whole” child and that children learn best when they are active participants in the educational process. I look forward to a year full of exciting opportunities for growth!
